Hello
My name is Leslie Wolff. I have worked with women as a nurse all of my professional life, and at the age of 42 became a midwife ( a dream come true). I have been an active change agent in midwifery in the past 12 years.   Two months ago I was offered a position, a new one in my hospital, Bnei Zion in Haifa Israel, as co-ordinator of breastfeeding. Another way of being a change agent- this time officially- and I have entered this field with all my heart and enthusiasm.  
As the co-ordinator I have high hopes of having our middle-size hospital in Haifa become the country's first Baby Friendly Hospital - but I know the path is a long and not easy one- and I must have patience for myself and the process.
I belonged once to a LIST of home midwives- and it was one of the best sources of knowledge and insight that I ever got- so I have high hopes for this Lactnet List....
