HI all and thanks in advance for your help and support. I always enjoy
posting because I always get such great responses.
I have just been a Peds NP for the last 15years and just (last week)
got certified as a LC. I have been helping moms breastfeed for as long
as I've been a nurse but now have been working in a dual role. I have a
mom who is returning to work soon and has been using a Medela Symphony
with good milk supply. She does much better with it than her Pump in
Style. She has asked me to write a letter for her insurance company to
see if she can get part of her rental covered.
I'm sure you all have needed to write such a letter. My question is are
there certain words or phrases to use that the insurance companies like
to see. How detailed should it be? Can I reference the AAP statement
or do I need more in depth references to studies. . .
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Melissa Thistle
