My husband just reunited with one of his psychologist colleagues and told him that I was a lactation
consultant. The colleague responded that he could probably use my services because he had a dairy
allergy. My husband responded that "No George, that's a lacTOSE consultant". My husband still
confuses lactose intolerance and food allergies despite the fact that every time our son watches the
Jimmy Neutron episode when the Ultralord's nemesis gets squirted with llama milk, I get annoyed
and rant and rave because at one point they say it is a reaction to the lactose and at another point
they said it is a dairy allergy.
The colleagues wife responded that "Gee, with advances there are all these new professions that are
being created."
