Tina and Lactnetters.
The AAP publishes "Supporting Breastfeeding and Lactation:
The Primary Care Pediatrician's Guide to Getting Paid" It is available at
this link. I am also a non-licensed LC and I am just beginning to work on
this. Have never been reimbursed yet.

I would like to add that I am part of the ILCA Taskforce on Licensure for
LC's. I am working on an intitiative in Pennsylvania to license LC's in our
state. I/we believe it is important for the LC profession to become
licensed for numerous professional reasons. Among them is that it is a step
that will be beneficial to gain third party reimbursement. We will be
needing support from LC's to further this proposal in every state. There are
many ways you can help. I am sure you will hear more about this in the near
future. In the mean time if you are interested in getting involved in these
political processes email me privately and I will see that you get more
information.
