Gail Hertz shared a funny story about a breastfeeding resident who
kept her nipple shield stashed in her bra. It reminded me of
something my middle child did when he was about 2.
After lunch one day we had some gingersnap cookies, and he asked to
nurse, cookie still in hand. He then took a nap and our day went on.
Much later, after dinner, he was nursing again and to my great
surprise, reached into my bra and pulled out . . . . his cookie! His
eyes lit up at the find, and the rest of the family cracked up. I
had not realized I had been walking around all afternoon with a
gingersnap stashed in my bra!
He isn't nursing any more but still loves his milk and cookies. :-)
