A neighboring hospital has switched pump companies because of complaints
about their former pumps having little black specks of mildew in the
tubing. The new pump company asserts that this won't happen with their
pumps. I think that this is a common problem wherever there is
condensation and a cool, dark environment since these spores are
everywhere. What have others experienced with various brands of pumps?
Any mildew? No mildew?

I tell my clients to leave just the tubing in place after they have
finished pumping and run the pump for a few minutes to dry the
condensation as the manufacturer recommends in their instructions. That
works very well and I have no complaints.
