I can't believe the mix of reply's I got on this post and they were all really helpful and insightful and I thank you. Has anyone noticed I am in over my head? Problem is this mom is a WIC mom and I can't just send her off to an IBCLC...not exactly in a welfare family's range. But I do have some favors I can call in with local IBCLC's and I am defiantly going to bring one in on this with me. Everyone is right, why sit around and wait when I can be checking milk transfer. Unfortunately the mother let me know tonight that she is fighting her own instinct of concern in order to believe the doctors says everything is okay. I told her to go with instinct and that we were going to get to the bottom of it now instead of waiting for a real problem to develop. Thank you all for your well wishes...I am so over my head. I'll let you know...
