Has anyone developed a handout or flyer on skin to skin to give to mothers?
I'm wondering specifically about a flyer with some pictures of moms and
babies doing skin to skin.
It seems that a lot of mothers think that skin to skin is a matter of
putting the baby's cheek on her upper clavicle. Many of them just don't "get it"
and even when encouraged, will do it once and not again.
It would help, of course, if the staff would just put the baby skin to skin
with mom after they have undressed and examined the baby -- just to "warm it
up a bit" doncha know.
