If anything is to be blamed for what happened to this baby, it should be
death by stigma against breastfeeding in public. Or perhaps death by
intrusion of guests on the new mother-child dyad.
It was because this baby was under a blanket, that it was not being observed
adequately. It was under the blanket because of A) the presence of the
guests and b) the stigma of breastfeeding in public.
That's the I see it, and story I'd like to hear told.
