Hello Smart Friends,
I am working with a woman who experiences pain in her back while breastfeeding that does not seem related to positioning. She says that the pain is located directly below the location of her nipple - but on her back- and grows worse as the feed progresses. She did have nipple compression and pain which has improved with better positioning but the back pain is the same. I suspect that she has yeast and she has begun treatment. Does anyone have any ideas what this pain could be and how to treat it? I checked the archives already.
Thank you in advance,
Chayn Fogelman Israel IBCLC
