Dr. Neifert did NOT say that 5% of ALL women could't lactate. She said that
5% of women referred to her clinic with problems, after all the help they
could offer, were unsuccessful in the end. This is a VERY different population of
women with significant problems (including early mismanagement) than the
general population. Her number of 5% has been misquoted over and over again.
