Not just them (breast pump co.'s), I was reading on the box of Curity Nursing
pads their "hints for breastfeeding" #3 says "Use both breasts every feeding"
#5 "If your baby won't nurse long enough to take the second breast,
shorten the
time on the first breast and put the baby to the second breast sooner" #6
"Alternate the breast you start with at each feeding. Babies suckle hardest at
the begining of a feeding. Alternating will help prevent sorness of the
nipples.
Well, anyone who NEEDS nursing pads (like me) probably has oversupply problems
and using both breasts at every feed will only worsen the problem. THey are
ensuring that you keep buying their product!
