Research has clearly shown that very preterm babies need more PROTEIN, not
more fat or calories, for optimal growth and development. In the past we have
sent home very fat but unhealthy babies. Paula Meier is wonderful, but using
hindmilk does NOT increase the protein - fortifiers do. I am still waiting for
a protein fortifier made from human milk proteins!
