This medication should only have an effect while breastfeeding. I would be
more concerned about her production post-partum and her need to use clomid to
conceive as a sign that she had underlying hormonal problem that also affects
lactation. But if she was not pumping regularily getting only an ounce after
her milk comes in with all the stress of having a premature baby it wouldn't
worry me much. Then again, I would be more concerned if she told me her
breasts didn't grow during pregnancy.
Also, from personal experience I took clomid once and had a huge oversupply
with the subsequent birth. Chris
