How about  presenting the concept that is healthy for the breast and 
the milk supply if the baby doesn't sleep longer stretches?
When moms are wanting their babies to sleep longer I always praise 
their babies for having good survival skills...
these babies are protecting the health of their mothers and the milk 
supply...when presented this way the
mom feels great about her baby and is more open to changing what she is 
doing rather than trying to change the baby...
