We are soooo lucky at our community hospital. The anesthesiologist have
a copy of Dr. Hale's book. They are all very supportive of breastfeeding
whether the mother just had a baby, or had any one of a thousand
surgeries, they give them drugs that support breastfeeding and ask for
us, the lactation consultants to see patients on the surgical floors
to consult with the breastfeeding moms and get them back feeding or
pumping.
