    I agree that a rheumatologist be consulted. There are alternative 
therapies avaliable. If it is fibromyalgia, there is literature out there that 
discusses the benefits of exercise, appropriate rest, diet. I suffer from a yet to 
be diagnosed form of inflammatory disease that started after my second child. 
There is a link between inflammatory disease and childbearing in that it 
usually starts after a preganany. I found that when I sleep better I don't hurt. I 
used to have to take meds but don't any more. The biggest problem I had was 
anybody believing me as my sx were so vague at first. Don't let them tell her 
because the tests are negative that there really isn't anything wrong. Also, 
never stop the BF as we all know that this is what is helping her the most right 
now.
