Angela, thank you so much for writing this.  I was similarly unimpressed
and thought I was just being a post-menopausal crank.  Or that my existing
disdain for Katie Couric was influencing me adversely.  ;)  I felt like
the doc could have set Katie straight, and I'm sure she knows exactly the
words to do it... but she seemed like she was walking on eggshells to keep
from disagreeing with the "star" of the show.  Bleah.

I griped about that clip so much after I watched it that my husband asked,
"Honey, WHY do you even bother watching anything with Katie Couric in it,
especially if the topic is breastfeeding?  You KNOW she's just going to
p___ you off again!"  I hate it when he's right.  ;)
