How about adding a cot next to your bed if you have room - or if not use a
sleeping bag? My oldest found he was too crowded once #2 was born, and
enjoyed sleeping (he was 3 at the time) in a sleeping bag next to my side of
the bed - usually we went to sleep holding hands.
Another friend of mine ended up with a double bed and two twin beds in her
room - yes, the room was JUST beds for a few years until children moved on
into their own bedrooms - and they DO move out! <grin>
