It was asked how it fits in to have a bachelor's degree in lactation , etc.
The IBLCE requirement to sit the exam in this instance is a minimum of 900
hours of precepted clinical work in addition to this degree, as stated on
the IBLCE website, at: www.iblce.org. This is what one needs in order to
qualify to sit for the IBCLC examination for professional designation.
