Dear Friends:
I called this woman after I got home and thought about things. I asked
if she felt like hurting herself or her baby. She chuckled, and said no. Her
mother-in-law is with her all the time so I take that as a protection. Plus I
gave her my home telephone number. She did sound alright. My supervisor will
see about getting another visit authorized by the insurance.
All these things that outraged me so are commonplace for her. I wonder
what she sees in my life that outrages her?
She can't go back to India with her baby, without her husband, because
that would bring shame to her mother and family.
Thanks everyone for their posts. Would you that wrote to me privately
consider sharing your post with LACTNET as people wrote about things that were
new to me and I am certain the group would enjoy?
