Hi All
I am hoping that your collective wisdom will help my experience
I am noticing more and more babies latch but dont suck at the breast in our hospital. I realise that the birth, drugs, labour etc impact on the breastfeeding partnership. I suggest skin to skin and have a check list I work with. I am finding since commencing my new position as an LC that I am suppose to know how to fix them and Im not having much success. has anybody got ideas that works for them that I can try. Has anybody done any research on why more and more babies latch but dont seem to know that they need to suck.
thankyou
