I'm not sue I'd want to go he licensing route as well as being  certified.  
Does licensing amount to more than sending in a fee to the  state government so 
that you can say you are licensed?  In what way does it  verify your 
continuing competence?
 
Is there someone on lactnet who can explain in detail the pros and cons of  
licensing?
