    Thank you Jan Barger.
    Another thing that bothered me about this study is  the amount of 
supplement that babies were given. Ferris showed that even an  ounce of formula a day 
was enough to reduce breastfeeding duration. An ounce or  more a day moves a 
baby into the 'partially-breastfed' category, instead of the  exclusive 
category, which is our goal. Even if it is called 'medicine', for how  long must it 
be given? I would bet that it would shorten duration as well.
    How crazy can the world get?
