Hello
I've been nomail for several months because I'm currently writing my PhD thesis. (Still heaps of revision and checking to do!) At the moment I'm back on lactnet for a few days and I thought I'd share these recent references on tongue-tie and breastfeeding. They are from the Journal of Paediatrics & Child Health, published in Australia. One is co-authored by Lisa Amir, who I *think* is on lactnet. The other study is an RTC from England.
Amir LH, James JP, Beatty J. Review of tongue-tie release at a tertiary maternity hospital. J Paediatr Child Health 2005;41(5-6):243-245.
Hogan M, Westcott C, Griffiths M. Randomized, comtrolledtrial of division of tongue-tie in infants. J Paediatr Child Health 2005;41(5-6):246-250.
Cheers
