Hello Everyone,
I'm having limited success searching the archives, so I'm requesting your
help. Our hospital's neonatologist has asked me to find information on the
ingredients of colostrum vs. mature milk, vs. premie milk. He said that he
has noticed a trend, in his premies, of hypernatremia in those who are fed
with breastmilk. He wonders if this could be problematic or beneficial to
them.
Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction.
Billie Frye, RN, IBCLC
