Hello, All: Toradol is ibuprofen, for Pete's sake! What is the issue? It
belongs to the class of NSAIDs, along with Motrin, Advil, etc. We give our
mothers 800mg ibuprofen po q 6 hrs, along with Norco (hydrocordone) and
most babies do just fine breastfeeding. Of course, they are "drugged" the
1st couple of days due to the many birth interventions in addition to the
ibuprofen/Norco they are getting post-partum. I would point fingers at the
other birth interventions as interfering with breastfeeding first before
blaming something like Toradol.
