moms of premies or babies in nicu are at special risk for low supplies due
to a multitude of factors, so do all you can to maximize her potential if
she can bf on other side.
if she wishes the baby to be fed donor milk, encourage her to be more
persistant with the physician. perhaps she can contact a milk bank and speak
to the staff and they can suggest a way to proceed witht he physician or
send her some written material to share. perhaps the doc is just not
familiar or comfortable with banked milk .
