Dear Friends:
A favorite video of mine comes from the UK, "Infant Cues" by Mark-It TV.
It is about $40 and shows the 4 mothers breastfeeding their very young
babies on themselves at home. The viewer sees the whole process: getting ready to
bf (arranging pillows, making a foot rest), waiting for a wide mouth,
attachment, nursing, and babies coming off. There are no words, only beautiful
views. The mothers and babies are doing it all themselves. It also shows a baby
asking to be fed 4 times; each request is a little louder and more emphatic. It
shows signs of satiety, which is lovely, seeing little drunken babies!
I think it is still sold through Childbirth Graphics. If not, do a
search for Mark-It TV.
