I've experimented with that one myself, it's called sublingual pressure
or support, depending on the amount of oomph used. Sometimes it can
help, especially if the pressure is directed forward toward the center
of the jawbone (where we want the tip of the tongue to be).
I think we want to look at why the tongue bunches. Usually there is a
posterior tongue tie...it's far easier to treat the tongue tie than to
work on the suck for a month or more (which is what it seems to take).
