Thank you so much for sharing your story!
It's always a very good experience to hear what's
going on "the other side of the fence". I have personally
heard stories from the "other side" shared with me in my postpartum
doula practice. I have learned much from women like you
and crave to hear more stories because their is so much
education nestled inside these personal stories.
And on a completely self-serving note: This is why knowledgeable,
supportive postpartum doulas (whether family, friend, professional)
are absolutely an integral part of a happy, healthy, well-adjusted
postpartum period!
