Lest you all think I'm completely nuts, I am realize this could be  
considered long range planning, but it takes a while to get a PhD.
 
Barb, if you love learning and research, do it. We will need professors of  
lactation when we get all those college degree programs going for student  
lactation consultants!  Maybe you could design a degree combining adult  education 
with your breastfeeding speciality.  Who wouldn't love to have  you chairing 
their newly formed PhD in lactation department.
 
Uh-oh.  Back on my soapbox.  While I'm here, thanks again to the  dozens of 
you who let me know you agree.  I think we can do it.
