Absolute amount of alcohol is assumed to be the same in every drink if from
a standard glass. In the report is stated that it takes 3 hours per drink to
get out of the milk, so after 1 drink no breastfeeding for 3 hours, after 2
drinks no bf for 6 hours etc.

A few years ago, the TV show 60 minutes did a segment on safe driving after
alcohol ingestion to simulate what might happen after college or social
drinking. 2-3 drinks were standardized as to total alcohol. Subjects were
3 young men and 3 young women. No one could leave until blood alcohol
levels returned to legal limits for driving, which was I believe .08. One
woman had to stay hours longer than the others as her liver did not process
the alcohol as swiftly as the others. She was very tired and annoyed over
this fact, but it did show individual variables as to clearing alcohol due
to sex, body size, which showed males have much larger livers, and
individual metabolism.

That was reinforced when a female judge here in Washington State was stopped
for drinking and driving and totally censured as she presided over serious
drunk driving cases where people were killed. She is a tiny, tiny 5' and
about 100# woman and she should have known her bodily limits better.
