I just have to jump in here regarding how much sleep we all need. At 54, I
can't remember the last time a had a full uninterrupted night sleep and I am
not breastfeeding!
All this discussion reminds me of a comedian, Steven Wright who had this
line: He went to a 24 hour convenient store and found the owner locking the
door. He asked "aren't you open 24 hours?" And the store owner said "NOT IN A
ROW!" :-)
That's how I feel about the need for sleep for both mothers and babies, to
look what they need in 24 hours, but not in a row!
