Good morning,
I just got off the phone with a mom (ptp) para 3, babe is 7 wks., who
states she has large veins in her left breast at about the 3:00
position. She sees them through her skin and they are tender to the
touch. She states that nursing on that side hurts, and when the breast
feels emptier, she feels like "my vein is being pulled out my nipple".
No illness symptoms. I have not run across this before, and suggested
heat, but am not sure what else to tell her. She is close to weaning off
that breast because it hurts so much.
A nice Monday morning challange! Any ideas are most appreciated.
