Although it doesn't help specifically with the details of the problems
presented, an article at http://www.lalecheleague.org/Law/LawEmployment.html
is very helpful reading as background in working out disputes over pumping
in the workplace. It's called, "Working It Out: Breastfeeding at Work."
It is by the sorely missed Elizabeth N. Baldwin and her husband, Kenneth A.
Friedman. (Their writing on Family Law and working out custody and
visitation disputes is also absolutely must-read quality. See
http://www.lalecheleague.org/LawMain.html for "Breastfeeding and the Law").

I have used Liz's writings so many times to better understand how to
approach these kinds of situations, and to help mothers caught in some very
difficult places.
