I should have said "immediate perfection (in feeding) after frenotomy is
uncommon". There is often vast improvement if, as Kathy Leeper writes,
the frenotomy is extensive enough. Far too many docs only do a tiny
snip, in effect reducing a type 1 (100%) tongue tie to a type 2 (75%) or
3 (50%), which can still be problematic.
