I have 2 questions today. The first one is has anyone heard of
breastfeeding hiding hypothyroidism in a newborn? That is, that one
wouldn't see the symptoms if a baby were breastfed, until it was too late?
The other topic is unrelated to the first question. This is: are there
references for room sharing as a factor in SIDS? Also, my thought on
another unrelated topic (education/quality lactation help) is that there
are members of every profession that are good at it, and those that are
not. From plumbers to physicians and lawyers. It seems to take practice,
time, motivation, Mentoring, and some money. We always seek out the best in
the field we can find. No professional organization can quality control
every member. Like learning to play an instrument well.Thank you all for
sharing your wisdom, it is the most important link for me. Judy
