My understanding is that all recommendations are amendable for
individual needs.
But why does the doctor think the baby's weight would improve with
additional calories from solids?
If there is an issue with weight gain, then the baby can have extra
breastfeeds - yes?
The concern would be that the baby would start to replace his
breastmilk intake with solids, and the net intake of calories would
actually reduce.
I don't know how the medication the baby is on would affect this, sorry.
