There are plenty of babies that refuse solid food until a year old. My
daughter was one of those. Even after repeated attempts, she would refuse to eat
anything but BM until she was 13 mos old. Babies can thrive on BM alone at
that age.
My son also had vomiting & diarrhea for 5 days straight when he was 18 mos
old...came close to hospitalizing him for dehydration. He could only hold down
BM (refused pedialite) and did have a relapse a day or so later. His energy
level and appetite was low for a week or so...the stomach takes time to work
it's way up to eating larger amounts. He did lose some weight but bounced
back once he worked his way up to regular sized meals. She will demand more
from you if she's not eating much and you will make it at the right pace so her
stomach can handle it. Trust your body. BTW, he's a healthy 135-lb
15-year-old now.
