There are several good resources on handouts for Postpartum Adjustment
Disorders. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists did put
out one and I am previewing one for Childbirth Graphics. Below are two
wonderful web sites with lots of information not only on depression, but all
the other mental health issues that can interfere with mothering and
breastfeeding. Remind the office staff to also look for medical reasons not
just mental. Thyroid levels (not TSH but Free T 3 and Free T 4)are a must
to include in a new mothers with PPAD
