Dear Friends:
    The research that discovered this was published in Birth in  1991 by 
Penny Simkin. She compared the de-briefing story after the birth with  the 
mother's recollection of that same birth 20-25 years later. The mothers were  her 
clients in childbirth classes in the 1970s.The details were amazingly  congruent.
