Every year when I filled out the form for my mammogram, I wrote on the bottom
in large print and suggested to everyone in the office that they ask if you
breastfed and how long.
On this year's new questionnaire, which I filled out today, there it was--how
many live births did you have and did you breastfeed (ok it was breast feed,
but one can't expect perfection).
I answered 4 and that I breastfed a total of 8+ yrs and suggested that they
ask how long next time.
When I saw this question, I got up from my chair and yelled YES for everyone
to hear and then explained why. We are making a difference!
My thoughts, prayers and hugs to all those affected by Katrina. Hope we will
all be able to help in some way.
