I would agree with Chris. Also ask about family history of
eczema/dermatitis/ hayfever/asthma.
Topical hydrocortisone is not strong enough. If it is eczema/dermatitis
(which seems more likely than thrush as this stage) she needs a stronger
steroid ointment. eg mometasone ointment once daily. She should see an
improvement in a couple of days, and should not continue the ointment for
longer than a week.
