I have used Injoy's 14 Steps to Better Breastfeeding, which I liked
because it had a nice section on what dads/partners could do to help
with breastfeeding. I didn't like the footage of the mom latching on
however, so I always felt I had to qualify that section of the video.
I just bought a copy of the Real Deal on Breastfeeding, which was
discussed here a few weeks ago. I really like this video because
it's moms talking to other moms (and it stresses how important that
connection is) and it has good footage of latching on. I wish it
addressed the role of the partners/dads more, but there is one mom
who talks about how BF was a family thing for all of them (she talks
about how the dad cried when their baby weaned). There is one mom in
the video that I find rather annoying, especially since she made
"moo" comments about pumping at work, but it's a small section of
footage. I've shown it in the last two classes I taught and asked
the families about it after the showing and they all had positive
things to say about the video. IT's also nice that this is a cheap
video ($20), which is hard to come by!
I like Follow Me Mum, which was recently also discussed here, but I
think it's too long to in a prenatal class.
