Has anyone seen the T-shirt that Macy's is selling to benefit the American
Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" awareness campaign? Apparently,
Macy's, Hanes, and the American Heart Association have teamed up with celebrities
who design T-shirts. Well, Mira Sorvino designed one that has a drawing of a
woman breastfeeding inside of two glittery hearts. There is no mention of
breastfeeding in the ad but the woman is definitely breastfeeding. I even
called my sister to double check that what I thought I saw was what I was seeing.
Unfortunately, sometimes it is quite shocks me to see breastfeeding images!
All proceeds go to AHA, no proceeds are being retained by Macy's. I have
no financial interest in Macy's or Hanes but I do love to wear fun T-shirts
that promote breastfeeding. You can find the T-shirt at Macys.com. Enter Mira
Sorvino into the search area.
