From personal experience, I think the general concession on this is that if
your prescription stayed stable during breastfeeding it's ok to go through
with the lasik. I had it done shortly after my second child weaned. (She's
6 now). Since I've had twin boys. Everything is still fine, however, my
right eye doesn't have perfect vision, due to a detached retina. In all
honesty, while not the perfect situation, lasik is simple and a touchup
isn't a horrible thing. I had one after the detached retina. If someone had
it while nursing and hormones did change vision later, a touch up could be
done.
