How can we change this pandemic attitude toward human infants?
What are you doing in the framework of your work , whether it be
hospital, private visits, groups, etc, to reeducate mothers to
understand this? Is there any written material which we can distribute?
(I give out the UNICEF leaflet about cosleeping just to show that it is
acceptable.)

I do this in my breastfeeding classes every morning and in the
breastfeeding forum which I manage in internet where there are about
7000 hits per month. It seems to be a drop in the bucket, but we have
more and more attached parents in Israel as a result. I see more baby
wearing, fewer strollers, and more parents secretly tell me that they
sleep with their babies. In recent trips to Hungary and Paris, I saw
many parents wearing babies. In the US and Canada, less.

Recently in our hospital, a mom was sleeping with her baby and the baby
fell out of the bed. Hospital beds are not ideal for sleeping with
babies, so now we have a setback. Any suggestions?
