Michel Odent M.D., in another terrific book, The Cesarean, talks about
an increase of asthma and allergies in babies born by cesarean section, who do
not get colonized at birth with the correct flora for their living
environments because of the vaginal bypass.
This is a serious concern, as there are already several studies
published that link surgery with asthma in children. I have posted the citations for
only 3.
