so far, i haven't seen a baby reacting to plain black pepper, but of
course anything is possible.   IgE testing is not generally helpful
for infants....kathy leeper or one of our other esteemed md's gave a
good expxlanation on why.

so testing is pretty much out unless they want to scope the baby and
look for eosinophils, which of course they'll find.
